Although temperatures have started to cool, avalanche conditions are proving slow to improve in the Rockies, especially at higher elevations. Parks Canada and Alberta Parks have decided to extend the Special Public Avalanche Warning for Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, & Jasper National Parks and Kananaskis Country until Tuesday February. 17th.
