Here’s a quick clip of Matty Richard unleashing some epic baseball-hat-and-sunnies style in the backcountry just off Blackcomb Mountain.
The Coast has had a bit of a reset up high recently. But with the Duffey being as f#$ked as it as at lower elevations, the ski hill is the best way to access that sweet cherry coastal pow.
Unless of course you have a helicopter that’s ready to drop you off and pick you up. Or you don’t mind hiking through creeks and alders to get to the snowline.
There are a few spikes in the current forecast, but it’s lloking pretty good overall.
