Oh to be young again and be able to stomp massive 360s in cockstiff conditions. The junior comp was recently relocated from Fernie Alpine Resort and held on KHMR’s CPR ridge, where the competitors….boys and girls aged 12-18….made quick work of the kinda conditions that would have skiers over 25 years-old skipping CPR Ridge entirely.
And it’s not like these kids were just hucking themselves off whatever was in front of them. You can see in the video that they were skiing smart, sniping trannies and stomping their landings.
Take a good look at that results list because these are the names that will be making future waves in the Canadian freeskiing scene…
