Nestled against the awe-inspiring Chugach Mountains, Alyeska Resort is known for its deep snowpack annually averaging 650 inches at the summit and the steep terrain rising 3,200 vertical feet. Alyeska Resort has a rich history hosting big mountain ski and snowboard competitions with Mountain Sports International (MSI) and the mountain’s terrain is optimal to showcase the athletes’ capabilities.

The event will include three days of big mountain ski and snowboard competition for both women and men. The first round of judging begins with the qualifier day, which is one of the only open registration events in the world. Top competitors from the Qualifier day will continue to the Main Event Semi-Finals with the pre-qualified athletes. The top percentage from semi-finals will vie for the championship by progressing to the Main Event Finals day, which will be webcast live. Athletes will accumulate points from ranking at each stop and each rider’s best three scores will be combined to determine the overall series winners as the 2015 Freeskiing World Tour and Masters of Snowboarding Champions.
