“Month 2 and episode 2 on the chopping block there was still not enough snow to film in the backcountry at home. However, it was snowing in Colorado! We packed the trucks up and headed south to Silverton. Was it ever snowing! The pass was closed and the avalanche hazard was through the roof. Careful what you wish for. While the snowpack settled for a few days Telluride was kind enough to supply us with passes to cruise around the resort for a day which gave us the opportunity to check-out some mellow features just behind their boundary lines. We treaded extra lightly knowing very well that snow conditions were still very unstable.
I headed to Austria to meet up with the Billabong crew for a quick few days and Claudia teamed up with our new friends The Bus Life Crew.
When the crew was all back together Jen Brill at Silverton mountain was kind enough to hook up a day riding her resort. A one lift access resort that leads to a hike only & guide only bowl. Lucky us, legendary Chris Coulter was our guide and we got shred a few pow laps with him.”
