Seems like the mainstream news is finally clueing into something that our community has been aware of for a really long time…
It’s an easy phenomenon to sensationalize, so I’m surprised they haven’t really jumped on it in the past.
But you look at places like Vancouver’s North Shore, Vancouver Island and Tahoe and it’s hard to deny that Climate Change is taking its toll on the local slopes.
Here’s hoping that everyone’s wrong and that the average winter temperature actually drops a couple degrees and the storms keep rolling in from the sea.
In the meantime, we all just have to get it when the getting’s good….or just stop whining and “ski what happens”.
