Throwing their hat into the flying robot game is Go Pro with their Karma drone. Pretty sure this is gonna be a sweet product. This is the first footage released from the new drone however we have yet to see the actual device.
GoPro founder and CEO Nick Woodman said “We make everything backwards compatible, our goal is that your older GoPro will work with anything new we make (Karma Drone), and vice versa.” This sounds like good news for all you Go Pro early adoptors out there with your OG Hero cameras.
If they sell even a fraction of Karma drones as they have action cameras, they will surely blacken the sky over skateparks and backcountry booters everywhere. Keep your eyes on the skies for the impending drone invasion.
