Ok ok ok so Whistler Blackcomb just went and reasserted themselves as one of the leading destinations on the globe.
Their “multi-year, $345 million, fully-integrated investment” involves new lifts in the Khyber area (which will inevitably piss off some old dogs), new on-mountain accommodation, a high-angle ropes course and a waterpark that has……wait for it: A Standing Wave.
Surfing at Whistler Blackcomb?
Apparently.
