While everyone in Western Canada has been whining about our unusual season out here, the ski and snowboard communities in California have been rocked by four shitty seasons in a row.

Chances are that if they showed up at your home mountain this year, even if it was glare ice from peak to valley, the average Tahoe shredder would think that the skiing was pretty shit hot compared to what they’d been riding back home. And all fun times aside, the progressive loss of the Sierra snowpack is going to have serious ramifications for the every day lives of California residents.

We could sit here and argue for hours about whether or not these wacky winters have anything to do with Climate Change. Or we can just have an honest conversation with ourselves about the steps we’re going to take so that our great grandkids don’t inherit a big steaming pile of unskiable shit.

Protect our Winters.
