Hangfire Avalanche Training provides Avalanche Safety Training (AST) 1 and AST2 courses to skiers, snowboarders and snowmobilers throughout western Canada. The company’s vision has been to develop avalanche training that follows the Canadian Avalanche Center curriculum and is rider orientated, with emphasis on safe terrain negotiation, rescue techniques, and hazard awareness. Check out the course dates if you or someone you know should be taking a course.
